The South Dakota Transition Services Liaison Program (TSLP) enables students with disabilities to reach their maximum potential in their transition from high school to the adult world. Career awareness is a predictor of secondary transition success for students with disabilities. SD MyLife at sdmylife.com, provides students an opportunity to identify with a career that is related to their interest areas and ability. Students have access to this online program beginning in 8th grade until 5 years after they exit public education.
Post-secondary education institutes in South Dakota are committed to providing assistance and accommodations for qualified students with specific disabilities or needs.
